Upgrading from version 3.x

| · | Get your new Registration Key (write to sales@tech-noel.com to get it)

| · | Update your Pigeon Server first
|
| · | Run the file v3tov4.exe. This will import the information in your existing Pigeon.mdb file to the new Pigeon4.mdb file.

| · | Register and configure your Pigeon Server from the Pigeon Server Configuration tool. You must check the Clients v3.x check box to allow your current Pigeon Clients v3.x to connect.

| · | Start your Pigeon Server. The Pigeon Server version 4 is compatible with your Pigeon Clients v3.x, Pigeon Admin v3.x, Pigeon Generator v3.x and Pigeon Generator for Unix v2.1.

| · | At this point, all your existing Pigeon Clients v3.x should start to reconnect to your new server.
|
| · | Update your Pigeon Admins (recommended)
|
| · | Update your Pigeon Clients. Even if version 4 is compatible with your Pigeon Clients v3.x, you should consider to upgrade them to the new version.

| · | When all your Pigeon Clients have been upgraded to version 4, reconfigure your Pigeon Server to uncheck the Clients v3.x option. Restart your Pigeon Server.

| · | If required, the new Pigeon Gateway can be install from the full installation package: ftp://ftp.tech-noel.com/Pigeon4Setup.exe.
