| · | The Pigeon Server. It is the heart of the system. It manages connections to all other modules, stores and submits messages, it administers the scheduled tasks and manages the policies.

| · | The Pigeon Admin. It is the graphical interface to the Pigeon Server. It can be installed anywhere within your network. It allows you to create, edit, cancel, resubmit and organize all messages. It also reports which user is currently connected, as well as which machine. It reports who has received the messages and when. Finally, it allows you to change client's policies on a per user or machine basis.

| · | The Pigeon Client. This application is installed on every workstation within your network. It filters and displays the messages received from the Pigeon Server. It also allows clients to acces linked documents when available.

| · | The Pigeon Generator. This is a command line utility that can be used by other applications or processes to generate new messages. It is available for Windows and UNIX platforms.

| · | The Pigeon Gateway. This module has two functions:
|
| 1. | Gives the Pigeon Client the name of the server and the TCP port number to use to connect to the appropriate Pigeon Server
|
| 2. | For large companies where more than one Pigeon Server needs to be installed, the Pigeon Gateway connects all Pigeon Servers together to synchronize the data.
